My head’s spinning, the world’s sinking…

June 19th, 2004 at 1:05 pm

I had a crazy sucky night last night. Lots of odd emotions flying around about the girl and the folks, some yelling some tears, a good time was not had by all. *sigh* but today is a new day. God is still on my side so we’ll get through it. Together, very sweet.

In other news I resurrected my SNES and have been playing Smash TV and Tetris Attack nonstop.

So much old school glory. If you have an old system in your closet or basement, do yourself a favor and turn off the XBox or PS2 for a few days and relive the glory of old school games.

There’s a reason why Dig Dug is still addictive today. It because it’s a great game. In twenty years Defender, Mario 64, and Halo will still be considered great albeit a little dated. It proves that the hallmark of a superior game is in solid gameplay, not visuals.

But I digress.

:puts soapbox away:

Keep it fresh. I might pop in later today if I’m on.

Oh oh! HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT!

Everyone who reads this post must write a short (2-4 line) poem about anything and then post it in the coments section of this post. I will do the same.

    My poem:

    Overground forces moving, clearing life
Abandoned. Droning tank treads ripping rising
The Daisy field of childhood dying
    Your Luftwaffe your Blitzkreig

    An Ode to Snuff

    Snorting, Sniffing, Lifting
    black, brown
    Dry, Moist, fine
    Scotch, Ozona
    Pleasure, Extacy, Euphoria
    Blown, Done.
