The New American Sweatshop…

…Electronic Arts is a very big game publisher. They have their hands in every genre and continue to grow, absorbing failing studios and aquiring new properties. I am a huge fan of Burnout 3, one of EA’s most recent “accomplishments” (actually the game was created by Criterion).

However, when I heard a different side of the story, I began to question my thinking.

The spouse of an EA programmer writes about her feelings concerning the labor practices of Electronic Arts. She presents an image that is far different from what you get from the average gaming magazine.
