Update: I wrote the above from my wife’s parent’s house amid Christmas hustle and bustle. It was my response to finding out that the forums had been hit by (probably) the phpBB Sanity worm. We lost almost 3000 posts and hundreds of topics that made up the best representation of GloryFish.org’s history.

It’s very sad to see something you’ve created be violated like that. I feel like the community that has sprung up around GloryFish.org is as much a part of the site as the drawings and blog posts and HTML code. I’ve lost something very personal to me and I can’t get it back.

That being said, I’m looking forward. The revamp is coming along nicely, this is just causing me to do the forum update sooner than I had planned. You may get a taste of what the new look will be like soon.

Check back at GloryFish.org often. I’ll keep you updated.

In other news, I just ordered Blue Man Group’s Complex Rock Tour Live DVD. It’s kind of a late Christmas present to myself and will serve as a distraction from all of the insurance claiming I’m doing.
