I am humbled…

…hear me…or don’t.

If you read this blog regularly and have never been to the Whimsical World of Mahutaville then you should go, right now. I’ll wait…

As you can see Brian is no pussy when it comes to sharing his faith, my faith, our faith. We belive in God, and that he sent his son Jesus to die on the cross so that every person could be forgiven of their sins and have the opportunity to know God in a personal way. We strive to live every day with repect to this gift and our great call as Christians to try and share that gift with everyone we meet. We do this through example, attitude, and talking, and in Brian’s case Blogging.

I am humbled every time I read Brian’s blog because he reminds me of the things I thank God for every day: His awe inspiring compassion, mercy, and love for an awkward kid who doesn’t deserve anything.

I owe everyone, who’s ever read this blog, an apology for not making that more clear. Anytime I had a good day it was because God carried me through it. Anytime I had a bad day was probably because I was stubborn and God had to drag me, kicking and screaming, through it. (At this time I’d like to ask Brian to compose a post about God’s proverbial “Can of Whoop-Ass(He obliged, so I’m linking to it here). I feel it would be appropriate.)

If you understand what I’m talking about, I hope this encourages you. If I sound like a very odd person who is maybe a little too open about beliefs that are best kept private, then I encourage you to be a bit more patient with the next person who tries to talk to you about God. Once in a while, they’re really just an asshole. But mostly, they just want you to know why they’re so happy.

Peace.
