…Mostly when I don’t update for a while it’s not cause I’m being lazy. Usually it’s because I have a couple of big projects going and I’m trying to finish them. Lately I’ve been working on three major projects at once:

1. A film project for school.
2. A database program for the radio station.
3. A new intro for my radio show.

I finished the film project, but my teacher has it. The database is working, but it isn’t finished. The only thing I have to justify my absence is the new intro for “The Mighty Glory” and I think it came out pretty cool.

A good show intro does two things: it gets the audience pumped for the show and it gets the DJs pumped for the show. I feel I have been successful in this endeavor.

The music in the background is a Dream Theater song. The first sound of the live concert is from a Pearl Jam show followed by the intro to “Pianoman.” I used a lot of sounds from the “I Love Bees” ARG that I played over the summer and the rest are clips of myself and other people at the radio station, heavily edited. It sounds best with a good pair of headphones but seeing as it is typically broadcast over a low-watt college FM station, whatever you have should be better than that.
